Hi, my name is Saeid Zerehpoosh, professionally known as Dir Shahin, an independent film director and visual storyteller based in Manchester, UK.

For over a decade, I have been dedicated to cinematic storytelling, transforming abstract ideas into emotionally precise visual experiences. My work explores identity, silence, power, and human tension, often using restrained visual language and atmospheric realism.

I work across the full filmmaking process, from concept development and directing performances to shaping the final image through cinematography, editing, and post-production. My background in photography and visual design informs a style grounded in minimalism, authenticity, and intentional composition.

I am the founder of Mavren Studios, an independent film studio focused on narrative cinema, visual experimentation, and emerging production methodologies.
​
I am also the founder of Filmry, a new production infrastructure designed to unify filmmaking workflows from script to delivery.
