Hi, my name is Saeid Zerehpoosh, professionally known as Dir Shahin;
An independent film director and visual storyteller based in both Manchester & London, UK.

For over a decade, I’ve been dedicated to the art of cinematic storytelling, transforming raw ideas into powerful visual experiences.
My work spans the entire filmmaking process: from concept development and directing performances, to shaping the visual language through cinematography, editing, and post-production. I thrive in collaborative environments, where shared vision and creative teamwork bring unforgettable stories to life.​ I’m passionate about exploring bravery, justice, and human connection, often using metaphorical narratives to address social issues in a deeply cinematic and emotionally resonant way.
My background in photography and visual design has shaped my style, favoring simplicity, authenticity, and bold creative choices that allow the story to shine.​ As the Founder & CEO of Mavren Studios, I’m pioneering the future of filmmaking by integrating Virtual Production, Unreal Engine, VFX, and real-time cinematic technologies. My vision is to create a studio where traditional filmmaking meets cutting-edge innovation, empowering artists, storytellers, and brands to craft immersive, world-class visual experiences.
